Hi all
I have been told that Qlik performs best when the fields have less possible unique values, which is why removing datetime stamps and replacing them with year, month, day etc. fields is a good idea.
Our warehoused data already has dim tables doing this transformation. Is it recommended to extract these dim tables and use the transformed fields in Qlik Sense or is it best to just extract the datetime and then do the transformation in a dedicated transformation app?
Cheers

In case this transformation is been done at source , I would suggest you use the same rather repeating the steps on qlik as it saves time
Thank you. That was what we was getting at, so good getting confirmed in this.
