Default field selection in qlik sense

Hi guys,

I have a year field with 2017, 2018  and 2019. I want to select 2019 as a default selection when opening the dashboard and allow them to select multiple years also but when user try to clear the selection I still want my default selection to be restrained i'e I don't want my 2019 default selection to go away..

How could achieve this in qlik sense??

I know we can do this in qlikview uing OnAnySelect trigger in document properties but i don't see such option in qlik sense..

Can someone please help me on this??

Hi,

One workaround could be using default bookmark:

but it won't re-apply when users clear selection. For this I believe you need to write/use custom extension.

Along with the dynamic bookmark you can also try for Always one selected.

Though this does not guarantee that the default selection will resume and user will be restricted to filter only one value.
