Difference between Qliksense and Qlikview

Hi All,,

We are migrating Qlikview app to Qliksense and Could you please let me know the differences that can be done in Qlikview but not in Qliksense for the follwoing Charts/Objects.

1.Bar Chart

2.Line Chart

3.Combo Chart

4.Pivot Table

5.Text Object

6.Actions (Like activate Sheet,Clear All,Set variable etc)

1. 2. 3 4. 5. are also possible in Qlik Sense

Buttons and Fields to set variables are possible in Qlik Sense if you use extensions.

Hi Ralf,

I do agree with you the first five are available in qliksense and Qlikview but I need to know the difference.

For example in Qlikview Barchart We can manipulate the colours(Our Specific colours),Bar/Cluster distance etc but cannot in Sense.

Similary what is difference other charts or objects.

No extension objects allowed in the Qlik cloud

You can manipulate the color in Qlik Sense to you can set it in Master Items Dimensions and Measures to have overall the same color or you can color it by your own expression.

The difference is that you have more visualisations and setting possibilities in QlikView but in that case you can ask me for one or more specific features and i can answer you that is possible or not possible in Qlik Sense
