Direct access to Qliksense Application from IPAD

Dear All,

This would be simple solution for many techies, but i would like to know about my issue.

We have a Qliksense hub, where we deployed Qliksense document. Is there any chance to by pass access point access and directly hit the single that application.

Further any information, please let me know on this.

Hi Ravi, if you mean bypass the Qlik Sense hub, then yes you can link directly to an application. For example here is a URL to my public Sense instance on Amazon AWS - I have setup Anonymous access which uses my access pass logins.

Try this in your iPad: (direct to app)

http://ec2-23-21-18-212.compute-1.amazonaws.com/sense/app/de68af09-446c-443b-b661-32a062975df2/sheet...

or this: (app overview)

http://ec2-23-21-18-212.compute-1.amazonaws.com/sense/app/de68af09-446c-443b-b661-32a062975df2

When accessing the apps int he browser, take note if the URL it creates.

Secure apps, will require a login first, so you may have to authenticate first, which can be done with a variety of methods.

Other thing to do is Using safari add a bookmark on start page of IOS. You can do this by opening with safari and marking it as "+"

Hi Ravi, Ah I see what you mean here. I don't think that is possible.

Do you want auto-login or anonymous login for the iPad users?

- I assume auto-login as you want this to remain secure, correct?

It auto-login is needed you may need to use a different authentication method, such as web ticketing

But you still need a means of authentication.
