Displaying a Variable in Expression Label

Hi,

I have a variable called vPreviousYear.  I would like to display it in an expression label.  however using $(vPreviousYear) does not work.

Is there another way to define it?  Can this even be done in Qliksense?

id like to display vPreviousYear & ' YTD SALES' for example

Re: Displaying a Variable in Expression Label

Please see above, its not working.  I've tried vPreviousFiscalYear alone aswell without the $ , same result.

Re: Displaying a Variable in Expression Label

You cannot dynamically set a label in straight tables for dimensions and labels.  I fact in all charts which is annoying for this and localisation needs.

You can only do it where the little Fx box is present on the right hand side of the input field.

What you can do is use that method you have in the title, subtitle and footnote so perhaps you could add the dynamic contnent in there for your chart.

Re: Displaying a Variable in Expression Label

In Qliksense, Expression Label won't work with Expression. May be try this Emulating dynamic labels in Qlik Sense
