Does Qlik support Linux or Unix OS ? If yes then
Which Linux distributions are recommended ie. RedHat or Debian?
If It supports Unix then which Unix distributions are recommended ie. FreeBSD, Solaris ?
If no then any future plan?
Hi,
You need a Windows box to install Qlik Sense on, either Server or Desktop edition. You can however use it on any modern browser. If you can install server on another box you can connect to it from Linux. If not, then you will want to be looking at Qlik Cloud (https://cloud.qlik.com/). There are two different tiers of Cloud, the basic one is free and the business one allows better sharing of apps.
This blog post gives more details on the different versions of Sense:

Hope that helps,

Hi Moojahid - our new multi-cloud or what is known as Qlik Sense Enterprise for Elastic - QSEFE - is our latest technology that supports container-ized architectures (Docker / Kubernetes) so you can install the Qlik platform on any operating system that supports these architectures. Check out this video to learn more - we are currently in phase 1 of this type of deployment.
