Does external http content on the https page impact page loading speed?

I created a Qlik mashup page. The Qlik mashup page is deployed on https site.

Some content on Qlik mashup page is from external http, such as base map, and CSS style.

Does this impact my Qlik mashup page loading speeding at https site?

For the external CSS content, I have fixed it by the following method, as it is in mashup file.

1: change http to https

2: If the above does not work, just change

from

http://findicons.com/.................

to

http:findicons.com/....................

But how to change the basemap http which is from Qlik map object?

Yes, it impacts the mashup loading speed.

A walk around is to change http to https if it supports https.
