i have Qlik Sense Desktop and QMC

I only use the Cloud, but you can do it in several ways, on the Desktop you can connect to the database via ODBC for example, make the ETL throw the data into QVDs, and then read those QVDs.

In my case as I use the Cloud, I search the data by REST connection and do all my ETL direct in the script editor.
