Email Server on Qlik

Hello,

In Qlik Sense Business, I wanted to configurate the option to send out graphics by Email. For this, you need to configurate an SMTP server. My IT department told me, this should be an SMTP server from Qlik.

Where can I get this information?

Hello @Romainscho1, for SaaS versions you would need to configure your own SMTP server, I mean providing your own credentials for example in Gmail:

• Server name: smtp.gmail.com
• SMTP Gmail user: your gmail address
• SMTP Gmail password: your password
• SMTP Gmail port: 25 or 465

Hi Patricia,

Thnk you for this information. Usually, this SMTP server should be coming from Qlik, our organisation is not willing to pass through google or another third party for various reasons.

Hello @Romainscho1 every customer should use their own SMTP server, in my case I am working in Qlik Support and we use Outlook - Office for all the employees, so normally each company has their own SMTP provider.
