First off - congratulations to the development staff on such an informative message.
This occurs in qliksense desktop Sept 2018 which I just downloaded and even on the default apps this archaic message appears. I've read some of the posts on changing services.conf but the message continues to confound.
Our team is basically twiddling their thumbs until we get this fixed.
What kind of environment do you have? Physical machines or virtualized? Did you install on only one machine or do you have this problem on every machine? Have you tried the November 2018 release? Have you checked the log files in the Log directory of your QS Desktop installation for errors?
