Error while installing QlikSense Desktop

Hi All,

I just started using Qlik Sense Desktop through Cloud application. I am new to it, but when I tried installing .exe file on my Windows 8 OS. I am getting an error. Attached is the copy of the same.

I tried running it as administrator, even tried workaround using Registry Editor but still the issue is not resolved.

The Log says ,

[1E78:0F3C][2020-03-18T22:53:35]e000: Error 0x80070643: Failed to install MSI package.
[1E78:0F3C][2020-03-18T22:53:35]e000: Error 0x80070643: Failed to configure per-user MSI package.

[1E78:0F3C][2020-03-18T22:53:35]e000: Error 0x80070643: Failed to execute MSI package.

 

Kindly help me to resolve this one.

hm, the system requirement for Qlik Sense Desktop is Windows 10

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit version only)

It is because of the older version of .net framework.

Thanks for the reply.

I have latest version of .NET Framework which supports on Windows 8, but still the error persist, after selecting run as administrator also.

Oh. I will try updating my OS to Windows 10.
