Excluding the filter selection in the bar chart

Hi, 

I have a requirement where i need to exclude the filter value selected from the bar chart. 

Scenario: I have date field concatenated with one text field, and its value displayed in bar chart, also i have 3 selections of day,month and qtr, based on get field selections i have toggled the value.  when i click on day the day level data displays in bar chart. similar for qtr and month. also i have date field selection and when i select any particular date, that particular value should not be displayed in the bar chart. eg: if i have 2020-01-01 to 2020-01-31 as my bar chart values for day selection, and if i select 2020-01-01 in the filter, my bar chart should not display that particular value.

I think you need to use an Alternate State assigned to the date filter so that it's selection doesn't affect any of the visualizations.  Then in set analysis, use the E() function with the Alternate State to eliminate data associated with the selected date.

Yep Set Analysis with the E() function will handle your request.
