Extension Object and Mashup creation Greyed out

Hi,

I am trying to explore Qlik Sense. We have installed Qlik sense server and creating apps, but the create new Extension and Mashup is greyed out on the dev-hub.

When I try to Navigate from the Tools option on the dev-home home page it does not allow me to create the Extension,same for Mashup as well.

My Id has Root Admin,Content Admin and Security Admin permission.

My Extension folder is paced at "C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Examples\Extensions"

Please advise if I need to change any configurations.

Hi,

Most likely you do not have any extension and mashup templates installed. Check in QMC, under Extensions. You should have the following:

(I have got a few more than the default installation, that's why it says 20 at the top)

what kind of update of Qlik Sense are you using? maybe some extension are new, and your qlik sense is not updated

That's right,

it is greyed out until you have chosen a template.

I am using Qlik sense server 3.2.

Because there are no templates? In that case you need to import the templates in QMC.

I do have Extensions imported in the qmc as below. Anything else I need to import ?

Hi Erik,

I tried to import the Templetas in location C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\Client\themes\

But I get an error saying the given folder does not contain proper extensions.

Please advise if I need to follow any specific steps to import the Templates.
