Hello Jukah! It looks like the storage location of Qlik Sense is on a network drive. The following steps should solve your problem:

1. Go to Documents\Qlik\Sense\Apps and make a backup of your apps.

2. Uninstall Qlik Sense 3.1 and restart your computer.

3. Start the setup of Qlik Sense 3.2 and choose Custom Installation. Do not change the Installation Location (simply click Next) but change the Storage Location to another directory, e.g. C:\Qlik and confirm.

4. After the installation is over move your .qvf files to C:\Qlik\Sense\Apps.

Hi,

Can you brief more?

What is inside? and is your ID dosn't have access to this folder?

\\S0575\users$\JUKAH\\Qlik

Recently i've upgraded from 3.1 to 3.2 and no issue.

Thanks,

Deva

I don't quite know how to brief more.. i think that the update file is kind of messy with a company system OS like ours.

INSIDE = All the Qlik program files, and Yes we have access to this folder... 😕

In our case we had similar symptoms, so I uninstalled the original, and then ran the advanced installer. When I tried to specify the path to my documents (which is a DFS share), it rejected it and said that UNC paths weren't allowed.

It also wouldn't allow a mapped drive path, so I ended up putting everything in a directory on C: which then worked.

Previous version was fine with the DFS path...

Thx for the answer !

So if i understand, you moved this : \\S0575\users$\JUKAH\\Qlik to this --> C:\Program Files\Qlik

And it worked ?

If I recall correctly I told it to put the content in a new folder C:\Qlik17, which now contains the Examples and Sense folders and all their subfolders. I then had to copy my models and extensions across from the old Qlik folder under my documents.
