Filter Data from my date picker

I have created a Data picker extension according the design requirements which looks just fine. However, I am finding hard time in finding appropriate tutorials which help to filter data from the sheet based on the dates selected by the date Picker. I have looked into the source code of the Built in date picker extension but since I am weak in JavaScript, I couldn't make much sense out from it. Kindly help me so that filteration can work on a date field selected from the properties pane.

Do you have a DATE field? Try to select it.

Hi. I have date field and I bound it to the calendar. But any selection in the calendar is not having effect on sheet. If I use the built in date picker, that is filtering the sheet data also.
