Looked around some posts and found a post similar to my question, but unable to replicate the result i wanted.

Basically i have a field that was color coded to show different colors for different bucketed values. I want to add a filter pane that allows the selection of those colors for faster sorting.
I did what the above thread suggested, inserting the exact expression as the background expression for that field, but replaying color() with 'color'
However when selecting the various color options, it does not properly filter out the different rows to those that matched the color.
Any idea if there are other methods to achieve this?
