Filter charts based on multiple input variables from user

Hello Qlikkers,

I have a dataset with a field called Year(2007-2019). Now, I want to create variable input boxes for users to enter their desired range of years to filter out the data for analysis.

For example if the users enter the years in the boxes- Years from and Years To the data will get filtered for all the years between that range-

Any  help or expert opinion on how to achieve this will be highly appreciated. I am also attaching the qvf file here for your convenience. Thank you.

Hi Tas,

instead of using input fields there is another option how to achieve result you look for. Using search box of filter pane shows the same result. Press enter at the end.

If possible, avoid using fancy-shmancy input fields and always try to use potential of filter pane object. This could prevent you from creating crazy logic of set analysis in your measures and headache.

Hi @mato32188 ,

I did not know we could put conditions like this in the filter pane. That was very helpful. Thank you!
