First steps with qlik - Qlik Community

Hi everyone!

I've been delegated to improve the data processing of the plant controlling dpt in the company i've been hired.

The aim of the project is to use Qlik and replace Access as our database requester in the ERP.

As a beginner in Qlik, i would like to find a "translater" of script between Excel scripts and Qlik scripts. A web site or a file would be perfect 🙂

There is not any precise equivalence.

1) Access and Excel can use SQL to extract data from a database. That SQL is 100% portable to Qlik Load Script.

2) Excel uses formulas to aggregate and calculate data. Qlik uses Expressions which are quite similar, but different in some ways.

I recommend doing some basic training to startor read a good book. Are you using QlikView or Qlik Sense?
