Format

Hi ,

I have a time stamp format like : [14/Sep/2016:10:40:00 +0800]

I tried  the below formula :

Timestamp(Timestamp#(Left("Timestamp",11)&' '&Right("Timestamp",9),'DD/MMM/YYYY hh:mm:ss'),'DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm:ss') as "User Timestamp"

but  the resultant is coming like : 9/13/2016  10:40:19 AM and i want the output as 13/9/2016 10:40:19 wthout AM/PM.

Re: Format

This works for me:

=Timestamp(Timestamp#(Left(Timestamp, 20), 'dd/MMM/yyyy:hh:mm:ss'), 'd/M/yyyy hh:mm:ss')

14/Sep/2016:10:40:00 +0800  -->  14/9/2016 10:40:00

Re: Format

Hi Priyabrata,

This simplest solution to formatting a date would be to convert it to a number and then apply the date format you want. In your case, you can try something like this,

date(floor(num(Timestamp)),'d/M/yyyy hh:mm:ss')

Hope this will be helpful.

Thanks,

Akash.
