Free account of Qlik Sense Desktop can still be used after Dec.15.2019?

I received an email as following:

will this impact the use of free account of Qlik Sense Desktop? Or it will be shut down too by Dec.15th.2019?

Important Update for Qlik Sense® Basic users 

In August, we announced that Qlik Sense Cloud Business is transitioning to Qlik Sense Business, our new SaaS offering for groups and teams. As part of this evolution of our SaaS offerings, we are winding down free access to Qlik Sense and Qlik Sense Cloud Basic will no longer be available after December 15, 2019.

I also want to know. Yesterday i try to log in again , and i found that i still can use it. Not sure why they still allow free account to use it ? Can some one explain ?

Hi all,

Free access to Qlik Sense desktop will cease after 30 June 2020. After this date, you can still use it provided you authenticate it against your own Qlik Sense Enterprise version instead of cloud.

The free desktop will be shut down on 30 June 2020 as noted above

The cheapest option to continue using the desktop will be cloud business. That is US$30 per user per month

No. Its free until 30 June.

But from 30th June on the cheapest option at present is cloud business. If you have a cloud business license you can use this license to also use the free desktop

To have business license meaning I must paid monthly USD30 right ?

Does it mean that by 30 June 2020 , I will not be able to post my QVF at Qlik Cloud right ? Since I never subscribe to monthly USD 30.

May I know why Qlik extend from 15 Dec 2019 till 30 June 2020 ?
