Free account of Qlik Sense Desktop can still be used after Dec.15.2019?

I received an email as following:

will this impact the use of free account of Qlik Sense Desktop? Or it will be shut down too by Dec.15th.2019?

Important Update for Qlik Sense® Basic users 

In August, we announced that Qlik Sense Cloud Business is transitioning to Qlik Sense Business, our new SaaS offering for groups and teams. As part of this evolution of our SaaS offerings, we are winding down free access to Qlik Sense and Qlik Sense Cloud Basic will no longer be available after December 15, 2019.

Hi @paulyeo11 ,

Yes, I think Robert is referring to "Qlik Sense Desktop" edition, there will no longer be a free unsupported version of Qlik Sense of any kind after 30th June 2020. According to the press release Qlik is doing this to align better with it's competitors. See here for more detail.

Thank you very much for your sharing. I think it is fair that Qlik need to charge , but I think the price they set are a bit on high side.
