I have a table in a SQL Database where I store a Date (normal calendar date) and the same day (day, not date) as last year for the fiscal year. What is the best way to get this data in 1 row?
I'd like to place a table and place the Date field in there, and see the normal date itself, the qty and next to it the qty for last year. So if I also then scroll up to it
e.g.
Date = 2021-04-20
LY Date = 2020-04-21
Date has 100 qty
LY Date has 85 qty
I'd like to see this in 1 record. I have a main fact table that has the date field connected to the date table (which contains both the normal date and the LY date in it).
