Getting started with Mashups

HI everyone

I am pretty new to the Mashup part of the Qlik environment and am struggling with the creation of my own blank mash-up.

So I was hoping some of you experienced users, could help me get started, and saving me some time in the decision making process.

If I wanted to take one of the basic mashups provided by Qlik and edited it in another program where I was not so limited. What program would you recommend?

I found this DAR mashup  Qlik Branch and thought that would be great as a stepping stone to something else, but again what program should I use? I once used Adobe Golive, but don't want to spend money on it, before I am sure that this is the way to go.

Re: Getting started with Mashups

This is very much a matter of taste and also of course depending on your focus. Nowadays a lot of web developers use more lightweight tools like:

Atom editor, Sublime Text, Notepad++, Bluefish ....
