Growth Graph Not to show up for last year selection

Hi,

I've a growth graph which is showing growth for 2018 vs 2017 with weeks in x axis as a dimension. I also have a year filter with 2018 & 2017 values in it. Right now if I select 2017 from the year filter, Qlik considers zero values for year the 2016 and gives the growth chart as absolute values for 2017.

I want that no graph should be made when we select 2017 in the year filter. (The data is only for 2018 & 2017) Any possible solution for this would be appreciated.

Hi vishal, In Add-Ons you can set a calculation condition for the chart, also include a message that shows when conditions are not meet.

This can be based on the max year selected or in another field of your data model, ie:

Condition: count(SalesField)>0

Message: There is no sales for current selections

If you data is only for 2017 and 2018, you shouldn't have had the year 2016 in your calendar table.

Thanks Ruben, I was unaware of this functionality. Perfecto.

Hello

I want to do Something similar as you.

I have data for 2017 and 2018. I want to show sales trend (using weeks as the dimension) with a bar-chart the but showing 2017 bars next to 2018 bars.

Any idea how I can do that?

Thank you
