Highlight bar not filter bar

In the attached app, I have successfully set up the bar chart so that if I click on a bar, it will highlight and all of the other bars will remain on the chart. 

What is not working, is that if I apply a filter only that bar remains and all other bars are removed.  I've tried several options, but can't seem to get them to work. 

I need the chart to respond to the year filter so that it changes the data to match the year requested by the filter. I don't ever want it to be reduced to just 1 bar for the YearID selected. I always want it to just highlight the bar based upon YearID selected.

You were not assigning the correct Alternate state to the filters

Thanks so much.  I've been trying to fix the chart and didn't even think about that.

Turns out that this solution does work live in Qlik Sense, but when sent to NPrinting where a filter for Year is set and a cycle for YearID is set, it still filters the bar chart down to just one bar.  So if someone has an additional idea, that would be awesome.
