How can I configure the Proxy to allow http only to avoid certificate errors?

The Allow Http box is already checked.  I have attempted to remove the https references but it gives me an error that those fields are mandatory.

What exactly do you mean by this? Once you've enabled HTTP (and restart the proxy so that it can bind to 80), you should be able to access the QMC and/or Hub via http://server.domain.com/qmc etc.

Try opening below ports if you haven't already

HTTP: 80, 4248 (HTTP Windows Authentication)
HTTPS: 443, 4244 (HTTPS Windows Authentication)
