How can we expose the Qlik Sense data model to users?

Hello,

In Qlikview there was something called a system table that we could expose to the users. It showed all of the tables and fields in the app. Does an equivalent exist in Qlik Sense?

Thanks,

Steve

There is an option in qlik sense as well. But this option is visible if the app is in "My Work" stream. Once app is published by default it wont be visible. So you have to tweak the security rules in QMC to grant access to the users.

Thanks for the tip. Do you know what resource type(guessing app.object) and resource name that would be?

Or do you have a list of all app.objects? Qlik only lists "examples"... Sheet, Story etc...

i did not implemented this so far, but there is one called "LoadModel" but not sure if this is what it is.

I will give a try on my machine and will let you know if i find anything.

Hello, Just wondering how you made out. I tried AppLoadModel_*, LoadModel_* with no luck. Thanks, Steve
