How to get the most recent date in AdHoc

I'm trying to get the most recent date for each ID in AdHoc. Please advise

I tried = Max("Start Date") but doesn't work

 

ID     Start Date
1 03/12/2022
1 01/02/2023
2 01/20/2021
3 05/04/2019
3  09/01/2022

Expression: FirstSortedValue([Start Date], -[Start Date])
