How to install Qlikview Publisher

Hey Community,

Please help me out in installing the QlikView publisher . I have downloaded it but i am unable to install it as it gives error message "The specified program requires new version of windows"

Which exact QV version (filename and file version info) have you downloaded and which exact version of OS are you running?

qlikviewdesktop_x86setup (1).exe is the QV version n i have windows 7 OS.

that's a QV Desktop Installer.

What's the QV server installed (publisher is a part of this)?

Also, have you got a publisher License?

32 bit or 64 Bit?

I thought we were talking about the server components (QVS / publisher)?

Are you running x86 or x64 Windows 7 OS version?

QvPublisherSetupRedist.exe i am trying to install n my OS version is 32 bit.

Where have you got this setup file from?

As Andrew said, publisher should be part of the QlikViewServer_x64Setup.exe.

Are you using a depricated old setup file? What's the file info saying?

Besides that, without a license, publisher will not work.

That setup appears to belong to version 8.50!!! Defunct for years

I have downloaded this file. You are right i think. I am new to this BI tool and want to install it and create Dashboards for manufacturing data. Please help me with some guidelines and material if possible.
