How to limit the data loaded in the qlik sense application

Hi All,

I have created a connection of qlik sense with oracle database where I need data for usr table. This table has records of lots of users. All I could see that this table have arround 250 columns. therefore while loading data it is taking lots of time. Can you please suggest how can I limit the data and the columns loaded in the application.

Here I could see "Filter Data" with input box. Can it be used. Also suggest how can I limit the columns.

Hi Bhawna,

It would be worth asking if you need ALL the columns from the table - and how you would be visualising it. i.e. consider the data model first.

One option is to use the CROSSTABLE load function - that converts columns to rows.

You could further refine your data based on a much smaller structure.
