Hello All,

I have created mashups in Qliksense and want to publish it to a stream. How can we publish Mashups in Streams?

Can anyone help em in this?

If the app you used in the Mashup is in your own WORK, and you didn't publish it to the stream before making the mashup, I believe it doesnt work. So please try do as stated already:

* Publish your App to a stream (maybe Everyone, to avoid access problems)

* Make a new Mashup, pointing to the published app

* Try to access

What happens if the log into the DEV-HUB. Can he see the mashup you made?

Alternatively try to make a virtual proxy in the QMC using "annonormus access" for testing purpose.

Sorry, that's not currently possible in Qlik Sense. You need to publish the app used in a strem the user has access though, but there is no built-in support for access control to mashups. Basic anyone with access to the system can open the mashup, but they might not be able to open the app used, so there might be no data in it.

Okay, Then how would i give access to Users to the mashups, if i am unable to publish it in a stream?

You give them the URL to the start page, or you include it in a web page or a SharePoint site or some other portal, depending on what you use.

Yup, You are correct. I have shared the home page link of Mashup, but he is not able to login.

Steps i have followed to give him access are:

1: Assign him the token.

2: Gone to Stream named "Mashup" and select "Create associated rule" and added security rule to the user id.

But he is not able to login tot he mashup.

Can you help em in this?

I'm a bit confused about your last message. Is he having problems to opening the stream FOLDER in the HUB, or is it accessing the mashup (site) on server/extensions/mashup-name/mashup-name.html ?

Hey,

He is not able to open the mashup i.e. extensions/mashup-name/mashup-name.html ?

When he is redirected to this Link, a pop up shows which asked for credentials. When i put up credetials it does not accept that credentials. I am sure about the credentials but i guess may be i am missing some step to allow user to see mashup. I can see the same link with my id(i.e. admin id).

can you help em in this?

Could be some problems with the app-location. Did you make the mash-up having the app in your own WORK ? Or did you publish the app to a stream (like EVERYONE, for testing purpose) before making the mashup?

Also try to select your stream in the QMC and Edit -> User Access and check if the user has the right rules
