Implementing Sheet level access in Qlik Sense app level - Sep'18 version
Hi,
I am using QS Sep'18 enterprise version. I know sheet level security can be implemented in QMC but due to some constraints, we are not allowed to implement it at QMC level.
Hence, can some one please advise if we can implement sheet level access at App level (using Section access or any other feature). If feasible, please provide the details. Thanks in advance.
Well, technically you could bypass the QMC and use the Qlik API's directly. But if you don't deserve access to the QMC I would definitely never give you the option to use the API's. And you need either so I guess the answer is that you're out of luck. Without the option to create/modify security rules and custom properties it can't be done.
I do have access to QMC but only have the 'Customer Properties' option enabled and 'Security Rules' option is disabled. This is could be due to I am not the root admin.
Can you kindly provide more information on how to provide sheet level using APIs pls? Thank you.
