Hi all,
I have a dataset that used to contain only one date field per id and now I want to add a temporal element where a user can select any date and the metrics would reflect only those that would be have been considered “most recent” for their chosen date.
The data looks like this
I want it to work so if the user chooses 5/10/2020 as their date only the highlighted rows get summed.
Whereas if the selected date is 10/12/2017 it is like below.
Thanks for the help.
Can you define "most recent" logically?
Like n number or months forward/backward
We need a logically definition to build anything
Why wasn't ID=8 consider as recent in second scenario?
Most recent meaning the date closest to the selected date thats already happened.
ID = 8 is not selected in the second scenario because 9/9/2018 occured after the selected date (10/12/2017)
Thanks.
