Hello dear Qlikers,
I am currently developing an Application for a client which uses Call Center Data. For the moment I am using Qlik Sense Desktop.
I have installed the informix odbc driver in the system DSN (odbc 32 bits), and when I try to download data from the CallCenter I get the following error : (I am using user with Non-administrative rights due to security issues)
When I am logged in on the PC with Administrator, I don't have errors and everything is working as expected. ed
I have made ODBC 32 bits for USER DSN , and when i Click Test connector, It is showing " test connection successful"
when I log in to Qlik Sense and try to access ODBC 32 bits I can't see the connection:
What can i DO?
Are we dealing with two problems here or one? In the top photo it appears that you are connecting, but are having a syntax error. And then in the third photo, you can't see the DSN.
At least with the 3rd photo, you might have to install your ODBC driver under System. Here is a pic of how I've got my MySQL ODBC setup running.
I assume you have installed it for where the current user (somedomain\serveradmin) can use it, but the AD account QlikSense is running under can't see it.

the 1st photo i Think the error is because my user is not Admin and can't use this connection
for the 3rd photo, I will install it under system tomorrow and see if it works..
