Inputfields in qliksense?

Hi guys, does anybody knows if inputfields are in the roadmap of qliksense? Maybe new release 3.0?

Regards, Marcel.

Re: Inputfields in qliksense?

What do you mean with inputfields? Can you give an example?

You can always write your own. The API is already extensive...

Re: Inputfields in qliksense?

Hi Marcel,

If you haven't known this extension yet, try it:

Qlik Branch

It provides an input box, slider and button input.

Re: Inputfields in qliksense?

So, three answers here of people who don't know what InputFields mean in a Qlik context.

Why answering at all then? Just to collect points? This seems to me an increasing behavior.

C'mon guys let's keep this community a valuable place!

Re: Inputfields in qliksense?

Thanks guys for your comments. What I need is a concept which was called inputfield in qlikview, where you can modify the value of a field inside a table. It's very useful when you don't want just simply a variable which modifies the dataset.

Re: Inputfields in qliksense?

Hello Marcel, let me see if my colleague Chris clarsen23‌ can reply. I recall him creating something similar for Qlik Sense as an Extension, (modify value in a table) similar to, but not exactly to what our other community members have provided. At this point, no - this is not on the Roadmap, but you can submit this as an idea if you wish.

Please mark the appropriate replies as CORRECT / HELPFUL so our team and other members know that your question(s) has been answered to your satisfaction.

Re: Inputfields in qliksense?

Hi Marcel,

I am not aware of any existing extensions that replicate INPUTFIELD behavior in Qlik Sense. However, I've seen a very nice (commercially available) extension that allows similar functionality - users can enter data in Qlik Sense, and it is being stored in SQL Server. The extension is called Klikins, from the company called SenseBI.

Check it out here:
