Hi Everyone,
I am trying to evaluate the deviation of our target costs and actual costs in our Purchase department. I'm having two Tables:
- "Item Ledger" that contains all Data regarding stock movements like sales, purchase etc. with following columns: Customer/Vendor ID | Item number | Quantity | Doc. No | Costs actual
- and a "Price scale" of target costs per Item with following columns: Vendor ID | Item number | From Qty | To Qty | target cost
I was hoping that I could use IntervalMatch to compare the purchased Quantity with my price scale to get the proper target cost to my actual costs. As far as I know I need to use Vendor ID and Item number as Keyfields, since a few Items can be bought from different Vendors that sell those items for different prices.
I am quite on a loss right now, because i can't get a correct script together that adds the target price as a column to my "Item Ledger" table.
I'd be very happy if someone could help me or maybe tell me a better way to get there.
Sample app can be provided if needed.
Thank you very much in advance!
