Is it a limitation for Qlik Sense to hold up to a certain amount of data?

Hi All,

I am trying to load a fact table having number of records 356,438,214 along with few Dimention tables in a QS app using HUB. The below error message is generating. A strange behavior occurring that  this error is continuing even if I remove the fact load until the Qlik sense engine service restarted.

Is there any limitation that Qlik Sense app only can hold up to a certain amount of data ?

N.B : The 'Data Load Progress' dialogue clearly showing that fact table's records already been loaded, but the error occurring during the saving of the file.

Can you please share any knowledge to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Som

Yes, there is. It's determined by the amount of memory available. Check the amount of ram used during the reload and also the amount of disk space available.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Have noticed that memory utilization is not so high (7 to 8 GB out of total 40 GB) during the reload. But CPU usage was high.

Can you please share any document describing the projected resources required to certain amount of data into QS app.

Thanks,

Som

And also disk space is not a problem as having huge free space.

Hi

I saw this post that relates to 'object could not be read' error.

error occured - object could be read from within Qlik Sense Server

This may help to resolve your reload issue

Thanks

Dan
