Is there a method to create a new field out of a combination of two existing fields?

Hello;

  I am very new to qlik sense and I think that this should be pretty straight forward,

  I would like to use an expression if possible to create a combination key that I can then use to  associate tables.

  I have  field 1  Invoice number  and field 2  Vendor number  and I would like to add a  a filed that would be vendor number_invoice number  as  vendorinvoicekey.

  I can see how this could be done from a load script but I am struggling with the expression.  Is this possible

  Thank you in advance
