A very good tool that help you generate and troubleshoot the expressions in the UI is the Set Analysis wizard:

Set Analysis Wizard for QlikView | qlikblog.at

Not necessarily a script debugging tool  but really useful.


To debug scripts best is to run in debug mode and use of the script log files.
