License allocation in Qlik sense

Hi Guys

If we want to allocate the license to user in qlik sense, then we need to go to manage license and tokens in qmc and then click on allocate.

But to allocate license to user, his id should come in allocate page drop down and it will only come when he log in once into hub through his credentials.

Is this process correct? Do we have any docs regarding this functionality?

If you click on allocate, all the users that are imported from user directory connection should show up. If that is not happening, try to re-import or check on sync option for the connection.

Did you create user directory connection via QMC. If not assuming server is in domain the behaviour will be as you mentioned
With AD configured the users shall be seen.
If you are using some other source to authenticate, depending on source the behaviour will be as mentioned by you
