Due to the nature of how "Responsive Design" which Qlik Sense follows much of the visualization properties will be automatically controlled by the form factor of the device your are using and size of the charts themselves. So many of the visualization properties will not be in your control. That also means that they might change dynamically - like in your case that the x-axis and dimension lables disappear as there is no room for them.
