Loading data according to selection of filter qlik sense

Hi,

Considering that having million records, instead of loading or creating QVD for all records, i need to load record based on filter.

Example;

if i select particular year, the data should load only for selected year. 

is it possible, if possible please guide me to achieve that...

You can use WHERE in your script, possibly in combination with MATCH or WILDMATCH depending on what you want to do exactly. There are countless topics in the community regarding this.
