Make Gauge show different limits depending on filter

Hey!

I'm very new to Qlik Sense, and data analysis in general. I'm currently working on a Revenue dashboard, and something I want to do is show how much Current Sales compare to aSales Objective using a gauge. This gauge should change depending on a location filter, as well as a period filter (Q1,Q2, etc.) I tried finding videos on this but nothing seems to show exactly what I'm trying to do. It seems I need to go deep on formulas which I haven't dwelled on Qlik Sense at this time. If there is anyone that could show me the way, or at least an article that talks about this topic, it would make my day.

Thank you!

Hi @tuficneme , I wrote this article some time ago about customizing gauge visualizations, maybe you find something useful:

Thank you @JuanGerardo .

The thing is, I want one gauge to show distinct limits depending on the filter. I'm kind of realizing that it might not be possible, and that this type of chart is fixed to one limit. Am I right? I would need to a gauge for each of the specifications I need.

Is there any other type of chart that can change depending on the filter.

For Example:

If filter is  Q1>New York

Then Sales Objective is 1,000

And the Actual Sales is 800

The chart should picture 800/1000

However,

If the filter changes to Q2>Los Angeles

The Objective changes to 1200

Actual Sales change to 1000

That same chart should show 1000/1200

Is it possible to do this in Qlik Sense?

Yes, this is possible. The limits and thresholds can be expressions that calculates with any logic. The images shown in the article is only one chart with different selections.
