Make a selection based of a chain of character

Hello,

I  want to select some string in selection box based on specific chain of character.

For example, in the selection box INSTRUCTION, I want to select all the string that have the value DISCRET in the string.

INSTRUCTION

DISCRET test

test|DISCRET|test

test

If I type on the research bar DISCRET or *DISCRET*, Qlik will only select the first row "DISCRET test" and not the second row "test|DISCRET|test". I need an input to get both of them.

Can you please help me ?

I believe *DISCRET* should select both the first and the second row... will test it out in a dummy sample now.

Hello Sunny,

I work with a lot of data using remote connexion from home. The connexion is slow so the data take some time to load.

When I have typed "*DISCRET*", I saw that no result have been found. I through it did not work.

But now, I have waited a bit and it work.
