More with Data Filtering in Sense Enterprise

Hi Guys,

I am newbie here.

I just succeeded install and config the Sense Enterprise.

It's about data filtering, when I opened the apps I imported from QS Desktop apps everything fine.. and even the last filter I set from apps has been preset on the web.

But, problem comes when I change the filter set on web and I closed the apps. When I re-open the apps, the filter back to first preset.. and my last filter set on the web gone.

Is there anybody here who have the same problem like this? And what do I have to do to the filter set I choose recently?

Hi Adhi,

Maybe the application has been saved at last open in desktop with filters.

• Open the application in Desktop version, clear the filter and save the app. and reimport the application.
• As far as I know the other method is reload the application without the associated data, then with data.

Hi Undergrinder,

Thanks for your explanation. It's confirmed me then, that the last selection I made on the desktop would be the default selection every time I open the apps.

But, what I need is how to save the selection I made when the apps has been running under QS server. I tried to do some minor changes (in Edit mode) and Done (as I mentioned it will trigger the Save action in the apps), and yet the selection was not included on the Save action.

Hi Adhi,

You can't do that with enterprise version. Instead of use bookmarks to save selections.

Ouw, that is so bad indeed.

I think Qlik have to do some more improve on this feature. But thanks anyway for your explanation.
