New Funnel Chart Dimensions

Hi,

We started looking at Qlik Sense's new(ish) Funnel Chart visualization, but I had a couple of general questions about configuring it. For some reason, when we select a dimension and set the measure to be a simple Count() expression for that dimension (with a limitation showing the Top 5 values), the most numerous category is replaced with 100% and the subsequent categories in that dimension (the 2nd-5th most numerous results from the Count() expression) show their correct percentages in the funnel chart. Can we adjust the funnel chart such that the 100% category is attributed to the overall dimension and/or remove the 100% region altogether?

Thank you!

Hi Pbrenneise,

Basically, today - you can't. The idea behind the Funnel chart is not to display a predefined KPI but the proportion between certain things. Even more so - the proportion between the top value of something and everything else.

For example you can ask a question like: How are the costs in your organization distributed?

Funnel chart can answer this in a way: HR costs are 56% of the Finance department costs which are the biggest expense.

If you think about it - removing the top record would bring what value to your chart? What are the rest of the dimension values gonna compare to?

I hope that helps!

Kind regards,

S.T.
