Not match function

Hi All Qlickies,

Request help from anyone to enlightened me on Not Macth function. I'm trying to understand how it is working rather than just copy the expression that solved my issue.

So I get below expression to exclude a field in dimension, but I couldn't and didn't find the real understanding on how Not Match is working in this expression.

=If(not Match([Shipment status],'Not shipped yet'), [Shipment status])

See below, Table A is with Match condition where it will show values based on the match condition and where as Table B where not is applied it not show values for match condition but it will show the output for the rest of the table.
