Ok a dumb question but does anyone know what I would use in the chart the add-on section data handler section for. I have been creating some applications for my job and so far have not used that section, I seem to be missing its actual function and would love some ideas and examples of when and why it would be utilized. I want to make sure I give my employer the most for their money.

I know I can add formulas and judging by its name it is used to handle data but what type and why I have not been able to find much written on subject, what I would want to do in that area and why.

Thanks

The add-on functionality could vary depending on the chart type, refer to Qlik Help for details.

I have the general idea and I have read that page several times I was hoping for some real world examples of when and why to use it and perhaps some sample code that would be utilized in that area. The help information in Qlik is so generic that most times I find it not useful, I get better results when I comb through the community and find real world examples and then dissect what others are doing, I personally feel the help is one area that Qlik could greatly improve upon.
