On Open application select MaxMonth in Qlik Sense

Dears,

I'm looking to automatic selection of MaxMonth from my date field when ever i open a Qlik Sense Application from hub (Server).

i tried like

1) selected the max month and saved the application from desktop then imported to server but the selection is not available.

(end user can clear that selection also).

2) Bookmark also not working.

please someone suggest any solution for it.

Did you find a solution for this? I am also looking for the same thing. So far I've found this extension: Qlik Branch‌ but I haven't given it a try yet, maybe worth doing that?

Using Qlikcloud.com for this example;

Say that You have a date dimension field called Datum that You want to search for the max value - then You first create a filter box with that dimension.

In view mode You then search for this;

=Datum=max(total Datum) 

(note the total keyword - using the total qualifier inside your aggregation function disregards the dimensional value, the aggregation will be performed on all possible field values);

You can then create a bookmark that will then contain this expression;

{<Datum={"=Datum=max(total Datum)"}>}

And there You have created a dynamic bookmark that will select the max date whenever it is applied (or when app is opened if You set it as app default) !
