Outliers, time series, and predictive analytics with Qlik Sense

Hello!

Currently I am using SAS JMP for time series (discovering seasonality and trends) and basic statistical analyses. I recently discovered Qlik Sense and would like to use it as a substitute for JMP. I have the following questions:

1. Is it possible to select outliers in a graph and exclude them from the analysis?
2. Is there any specific extension for time series analysis?
3. Does Qlik Sense have tools/extensions that support predictive analytics/forecasting?

Hi Mikel,

There is an extension for a Variable which could be used to develop a forecasting app in Qliksense.

I have a sample qvf which will show you how to use the Variable in three different ways as Variable, Slider and input box...

Thank you very much for your answer and sorry for the late response, I  had some technical issues.

I installed the Variable extension and loaded your file but it doesn't seem to provide the capabilities that JMP does. However, I will spend more time with it during the next days and see what it can do. Thanks again!
